Meet the Staff
Jenny Clem
Jenny has worked with Dr. Berky and the team for almost ten years! She enjoys working in orthodontics, especially because of all the wonderful smiles she is surrounded by each day. When she’s not at the practice, Jenny enjoys spending her free time with her daughter Isabella and her husband, Clint.
Kathy Zienert
Kathy is a great team member, and she is always looking for ways to make our patients feel comfortable and happy while visiting our practice. She enjoys working with patients of all ages, and making sure they each person’s orthodontic experience is as positive as possible. Kathy has been working with Dr. Berky for over five years. She is married and has two sons. Outside of the practice, Kathy loves spending time with her family and friends.
Trish Henderson
Trish joined our practice having over 12 years of experience working in health care. She enjoys seeing all of the wonderful, positive changes that occur within our patients as they progress throughout their orthodontic treatments. Trish was born and raised in the Winston-Salem area and graduated from West Forsyth High School followed by Chowan College and Western Carolina University. She currently lives in Thomasville, and enjoys traveling and camping with her family.
Brandy Shewcow
Brandy has been working in the dental field for over 15 years. She is the oldest of Dr. Berky’s children, and finds great joy working with her family. Orthodontics has always been a part of her life, and working in her father’s orthodontic practice came naturally to her as she got older. Brandy graduated Magna Cum Laude from High Point University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She is married, and has three children, Skyler, Aiden, and Ellie. In her spare time, Brandy enjoys participating in her children’s extracurricular activities, volunteering at their schools, and she is active within her church community.
Michelle Kogure
Michelle received her dental assistant certificate at Guilford Technical Community College, and has worked in the orthodontic field for over 5 years. Michelle enjoys taking care of her patients, and making sure that everybody she works with feels comfortable, happy, and well taken care of throughout their treatments. Michelle grew up in the High Point area, and currently lives in Archdale with her husband and three children. When she’s not busy at the practice, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, taking short day trips to different places.
Lizabeth Weavil
Lizabeth graduated from Guildford Technical Community College in 2005, and has been working in the orthodontic field for over three years. She has a great passion for helping her patients create beautiful and healthy smiles, and she enjoys getting to know each person she treats in a personal level. Lizabeth lives in Kernersville with her Pekingese named Foxy Lady. In her spare time, Lizabeth enjoys working out, playing golf, swimming, and spending time at the lake.
Melissa Baker
Melissa joined Dr. Berky’s practice following her graduation from the Dental Assisting program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has been assisting in the field of orthodontics since 2005. She loves to see the confidence a beautiful smile brings to patients. Her passion for orthodontics began as a teen when Dr. Berky first perfected her smile, and now she feels grateful for the opportunity to share this experience with others. Melissa lives in Lewisville with her husband Jeremy and their son, Noah. They also have one dog named Miss Sadie Love. Melissa and her husband are kept very busy with their son, but when she’s not working, Melissa always finds time to visit family, play tennis, shop, and do crafts.
Debby Berky
She recently joined our team in January. She is the practice's Professional Relations Coordinator. She has five wonderful children, two of which work in the practice. She loves to read, garden, and crafting, but most of all, being with her family!
Seth Berky
Seth has been with the practice for four years, and as one of Dr. Berky’s sons, he greatly enjoys working with his family and his father’s practice. Seth graduated from East Davidson High School in 2008, and has been working full time at Dr. Berky’s ever since. He is currently going to school for a Bachelor of Science degree at Guildford Technical Community College, where he also received his X-ray Certification. Seth enjoys sharing in his father’s passion for orthodontics and helping others, and he looks forward to the many years of happy smiles he has yet to share. Seth likes spending his free time outdoors, swimming, and hanging out with friends.
